The Sri Lanka Freedom Party has condemned government efforts of selling state resources to foreign countries instead of seeking suitable solutions to the present economic crisis.
Speaking to media in Kandy, Senior Vice President of the SLFP Rohana Luxman Piyadasa said the present government does not always indicate stringent management abilities.
Piyadasa said they are against the government’s actions that have led to the country being thrust into the middle of a power struggle between world powers.
He added the country must positively manage ties between India, China and the United States.
He said the present administration has failed to manage all issues including the COVID-19 pandemic, prices of essential items and the shortage of goods including sugar and rice.
