A special Parliamentary group meeting of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya will be held this morning to discuss the No-Confidence Motion to be tabled against the government and also regarding future political activities.
National Organizer of the party, MP Tissa Attanayake said discussions are underway to obtain the support of independent groups within the government for the No-Confidence Motion.
He pointed out that the government led by the President has failed the people, and protests were springing up as a result.
The Parliamentarian said the SJB decided to bring forward a No-Confidence Motion against the government, as they have no0t heard the people’s concerns.
He hoped that allied political parties and MPs that recently declared themselves independent of the government would support the initiative.
