A special meeting of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentary group is scheduled to be held today.
SJB National Organizer Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayake said the post of Deputy Speaker of Parliament will be discussed at the meeting.
Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa recently nominated MP Rohini Kumari Wijerathna for the post of Deputy Speaker.
Meanwhile, the motion expressing displeasure over President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will also be discussed during the meeting.
Parliament meanwhile is scheduled to reconvene at 10am tomorrow.
