National Organizer of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayake says the SJB is prepared to rule the country at any given instance.
MP Attanayake said his faction has a stringent programme to uplift the economy and increase the country’s income.
He noted the country is facing several challenges at present including the foreign reserve crisis adding the government lacks a plan to resolve the issue.
The MP added however the SJB has a programme to overcome the crisis.

He claimed the government is postponing elections because it is afraid to face elections as it is aware of the outcome if the Local Authorities Election is conducted.
The MP stressed the SJB is against the postponement of elections.
MP Tissa Attanayake charged that leaders of the present administration have failed to fulfil the promises they made while in the opposition, following the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.
He noted Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith and the Archdiocese of Colombo have claimed that they believe the Easter attacks were carried out based on a political agenda, to claim power.
The MP claimed it is due to several reasons including the actions of the leaders of the present government following the attacks.
MP Attanayake said no steps have been taken regarding the information revealed through investigations, adding justice must be served for the victims of the bombings.
He said all factions have called for justice to be served and action to be taken against those who carried out the attack and failed to prevent the attack.
