Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Mayantha Dissanayake says all local assets sold to foreign countries by the present administration will be reacquired under a future SJB-led government.
Speaking during a media briefing this morning, MP Dissanayake instructed foreign firms to pay attention to the SJB’s decision prior to entering agreements with the government.
The Parliamentarian said the government is attempting sell the Kerawalapitiya Yugadanavi Power Plant, 13 acres of the Colombo Port, oil tanks in Trincomalee and land belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force to Oman.
He said such actions that damage the country have never been carried out during previous governments.
MP Dissanayake warned foreign investors against dealing with the present administration, adding the government’s aim is to merely personally profit, as opposed to developing the country.
