The Samagi Jana Balawegaya say the government has not made a clear statement on the commodities that were transported to Uganda.
Speaking to media today, MP Mujibur Rahuman said suspicions over the relevant transaction continue to increase.
Parliamentarian Rahuman said the present government had many dealings with Uganda.
He also noted that such information was not released to media despite requests under the Right To Information Act. MP Rahuman also noted that the Premier flew to India via a Private jet that came from Uganda as well.
He accused the Rajapaksa’s of having many private dealings with the country.
Parliamentarian Rahuman said the government has been silent throughout and has not officially spoken regarding the incident.
MP Rahuman said the party’s legal team are planning to uncover more information of suspicious dealings through courts.
