The Samagi Jana Balawegaya says the present administration has lost control of governance.

Speaking during a media briefing this morning regarding the teachers’ and principals’ salary anomalies, Parliamentarian Ranjith Madduma Bandara said necessary action must be taken to resolve the issue at the earliest, at least prior to January 2022.

MP Madduma Bandara said the future of the next generation has fallen behind by two years.

The Parliamentarian charged that on the other hand prices of goods have skyrocketed.

He charged the government of claiming to prevent such occurrences all the while providing authority to relevant companies to increase prices.

MP Madduma Bandara said the government enacted emergency regulations claiming to control prices of essential items which was a failure.

He said the country under such governance does not require a President, Prime Minister, or Ministers adding that businessmen are sufficient.

The Parliamentarian also charged the government of attempting to increase prices of fuel.

MP Madduma Bandara urged the government to fulfil its promises instead of attempting to auction off state assets.

He questioned whether fuel prices would depend on Oman adding Gas Power Plants will be controlled according to US requirements.

He charged the government of vesting the Colombo Port City and other land in Colombo to China while the Kerawalapitiya Yugadanavi Power Plant has been vested with the United States and parts of Trincomalee to India.
