The Academy of Health Professionals says signs of a new wave of the coronavirus pandemic have appeared in the country.
President of the Academy Ravi Kumudesh speaking to media said a number of issues had arisen due to the Ministry of Health making poor choices.
Ravi Kumudesh noted that the new COVID wave is a global issue adding the Ministry of Health continues to fail to act in a timely manner.
He noted Monkeypox can be easily identified using PCR tests although the Ministry has since taken steps to shut down laboratories and release the staff assigned for such tasks.
Ravi Kumudesh stated that the Ministry lacked foresight to take informed decisions.
