Several train journeys scheduled for tomorrow between Colombo and Badulla have been canceled.
Sri Lanka Railways said in a statement that due to heavy rains and earth slips, trains along the main line between the Nawalapitiya and Hatton stations cannot operate.
Accordingly, trains scheduled to leave the Colombo Fort station to Badulla Fort at 5.55am, 8.30am, 9.45am tomorrow and trains due to leave from the Badulla station to Colombo Fort at 5.45am, 8.30am and 10.15am tomorrow have been cancelled.
