A special discussion between Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa and former President and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Maithripala Sirisena is currently underway.
The discussion is being held at the office of the Opposition Leader at Colombo 07.
Proposed constitutional reforms and several other matters are due to be discussed.
Several social media activists are also due to be attending the talks.
Traders say the prices of broiler chicken and eggs will increase further.
