The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has urged the public not to stage protests by blocking roads during the GCE Ordinary Level Examination period.
The PUCSL said all citizens should extend their maximum support for the smooth conduct of the O/L exam.
The 2021 GCE Ordinary Level Examination will get underway today.
The O/L exam will be worked-off until the 1st of June at 3,844 examination centres across the country.
The Ministry of Education said 517,496 candidates are scheduled to sit for the O/L exam this year.
407,129 among them are school applicants while 110,367 private candidates will also face the exam.
