The Public Service Commission will convene today (7) to discuss two reports submitted by the Inspector General of Police CD Wickramaratne.
The IGP submitted the reports based on inquiries made by the Public Service Commission.
The Commission firstly called a report from the IGP over the appointment of Officers in Charge at the 182 Police Stations based on political influence and secondly the recent hasty transfer of three Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police.
