Minister Johnston Fernando says the country is in a state of panic amidst the controversy over domestic gas cylinders.
The Minister said he is also in fear just like the public.
Minister Fernando speaking to media in Ja-Ela today said the advisory committee and all relevant parties were summoned for a discussion which was also attended by Professors of the University of Moratuwa.
The Minister said it must be revealed if a conspiracy is in play behind the incidents or if the gas leak explosions are a genuine cause for concern.
The Minister said the government is currently awaiting the investigative report adding that if any wrongdoing is determined, those guilty will be punished.
