State Minister Janaka Wakkumbura says it is regrettable that the pubic are not appreciating government efforts to save them from the global coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking to media in Embilipitiya, the State Minister said the government will always work for the benefit of the people, and added that many concessions will be granted to farmers through the upcoming budget.
He also noted that the budget which will be presented by the Finance Minister on the 12th, will make significant allocations to raise the standard of living.
State Minister Wakkumbura claimed that nobody talks of the job opportunities given to unemployed graduates, and the roads vested to the public during the tenure of the present administration.
He commented that every government decision will not be fruitful, adding that even the good decisions are being criticized negatively.
