Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Rajitha Senaratne says the President’s solutions include deploying the Police Special Task Force to all filling stations instead of providing fuel to the public.
Speaking to media today, MP Senaratne said the President has ruined the country long enough and has lost the people’s mandate.
He urged the public, those involved in the people’s struggle, the opposition, and all progressive individuals to join efforts to overthrow President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
MP Senaratne said the slogan ‘Go Home Gota’ is insufficient and should be changed to ‘Gota Get Out’.
The MP said an all-party interim government will be established that will provide fuel to the people, ensure people have food and medicine, and will also bring an end to power cuts.
MP Senaratne said livelihoods will be restored to its normal state.
He charged that an entire country is suffering due to the actions of one individual.
Meanwhile, also joining the media briefing today, General Secretary of the SJB MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara said an all-party government must be formed, adding that the world will not come to Sri Lanka’s aid failed leaders at the helm.
MP Bandara said apart from humanitarian aid from India, no other government or organisation has supported Sri Lanka apart from receiving several stocks of medicine.
He called on political parties and the people to join a struggle to save the country.
