Committee probing gas leak explosions formulates final report

The committee appointed by the President to investigate gas leak explosions has formulated its final report.

Speaking to NewsRadio, Chairman of the committee, Prof. Shantha Walpola of the University of Moratuwa said a request was made to obtain an appointment to meet with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to submit the report.

He said statements were recorded from 40 factions including gas companies, the officials attached to the Sri Lanka Standards Institution and consumers.
