Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Nalin Bandara Jayamaha has requested President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to inspect fuel and gas queues instead of visiting the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.

Speaking in Parliament today, MP Jayamaha said the government cannot continue to function in this manner.

The Parliamentarian said the country is at a critical juncture adding the price of a loaf of bread has increased to Rs.120-130 today while people surviving on half a loaf of bread in the morning are severely affected.

He said the government instead of chanting slogans and raising their voices should act on these developments.

The MP questioned if government members can visit villages and face the public under such circumstances.

He claimed that the public is waiting to eat the government alive in anger.
