President Ranil Wickremesinghe says he accepts requests by the youth engaged in the people’s struggle that the country requires a system change.
The President said all individuals are allowed to engage in peaceful protests according to the law of the country, adding that persons engaged in the struggle also have the same right.
President Wickremesinghe yesterday addressed the staff at the United National Party headquarters Sirikotha in Pitakotte.
The President stated that he took over the country at a challenging period, adding that many steps have been taken thus far to overcome the economic challenges and move forward.
