Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian JC Alawathuwala says the present government is the administration with the most failures since independence.
MP Alawathuwala speaking to NewsRadio said prices of goods are increasing rapidly with the price of a domestic gas cylinder increasing by two-fold.
He said the income of the public has not increased in comparison.
The Parliamentarian said the youth of the country who had high hopes for the present administration, are lining up at the Department of Immigration and Emigration to obtain passports in order to leave the country.
He said it is evidence of the change that had occurred during the past two years, under the present administration.
MP Alawathuwala said the COVID-19 pandemic is not the sole reason, adding poor management of the government is also to blame.
