Minister Prasanna Ranatunga says those criticising the government while enjoying perks must be expelled.
Speaking to media, Minister Ranatunga said the Sri Lanka Freedom Party members can leave the government if they are displeased with the actions of the present administration.
The Minister said he is not opposed to the SLFP but has been criticising the actions of its leaders. He said although he started his journey from the SLFP, he campaigned against the SLFP during the last election due to its leaders.
Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said former President Maithripala Sirisena destroyed the SLFP and now attempting to destroy the government as well.
He said the former President is also responsible for the 2019 Easter Sunday Attacks and legal action should be taken against him.
The Minister also said the government will not require a two-thirds majority power in Parliament to run the country and therefore anyone displeased can sit on opposition benches in Parliament.
