Underworld gang member Janith Madushanka alias ‘Podi Lassi’ was remanded today until the 21st of December.
The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Buddhika Sri Ragala today.
‘Podi Lassi’ was produced before the Magistrate for the first time since his detention by the Criminal Investigation Department ended.
A petition has also been filed by ‘Podi Lassi’ before the Court of Appeal calling for an order to secure his safety.
