Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has instructed officials to identify business related issues faced by small and medium scale entrepreneurs and to promptly provide solutions.
The Prime Minister issued these directives during a discussion with a group of small and medium scale businessmen at the Parliamentary complex yesterday.
Entrepreneurs claimed that they face issues when seeking grace periods to repay loans and reclaiming auctioned assets.
The Office of the Prime Minister said the Prime Minister’s attention was directed to issues such as price fluctuations and consumer protection.
Attention was directed to concerns related to a number of sectors, including the bakery industry.
