Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa says he is prepared to hold talks with those protesting at the Galle Face green.
Prime Minister Rajapaksa said he is willing to listen to the suggestions of those protesting due to social-economic and political issues.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister has extended an invitation to the protesters to hold discussions with him.
The Premier has requested a group of representatives of those engaged in the demonstration to hold talks with him.
A large group of individuals, mainly youth, are staging a demonstration at the Galle Face Green for the fifth consecutive day today, calling for the resignation of the entire administration.
