Social media activist Pathum Kerner, who was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division yesterday in relation to a protest held at the Polduwa Junction in Battaramulla on the 13th of July, has been remanded till the 4th of August.
The order was issued by the Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela this afternoon (29).
He is accused of leading the protest, removing roadblocks setup at the Polduwa Junction leading to Parliament and behaving in an unruly manner.
He was summoned to the CCD on the 18th of July and failed to be present citing health issues.
Court also imposed an international travel ban on Pathum Kerner.
