All Secretaries of registered political parties in Sri Lanka have been called to the Election Commission on the 24th of February.
The meeting has been called in view of educating political parties on the new rules and regulations drafted by the Commission for upcoming elections, and also to discuss a few other topics.
Speaking to NewsRadio Chairman of the National Election Commission Nimal Punchihewa said, all political parties have been informed of the meeting on the 24th.
Nimal Punchihewa noted that talks will enable the Commission to gain feedback on the new proposals compiled, and could also serve as a platform for parties to present their proposals to be included in the draft.
