Sri Lanka Railways informs that outstation trains to Colombo have been cancelled with the imposition of curfew.
The Railways General Manager said trains from Colombo to outstation areas however, will continue.
Curfew was imposed within the Colombo administrative district from noon today (14) to 5am tomorrow (15).
The Department of Government Information said curfew has been imposed by acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe under the provisions of the Public Security Ordinance.
An Extraordinary Gazette notification has also been issued by the Acting President declaring curfew within the Colombo administrative district.
