The protest march organised by the opposition against the present government will commence from Kandy today.

The protest march organised by the opposition against the present government will commence from Kandy today.

Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayake speaking to NewsRadio said the Nidahase Aragalya protest march will commence from Kandy at 9:30am today.

He added tomorrow, the protest march will travel from Mawanella to Galigamuwa and from Galigamuwa to Danowita on Thursday.

The protest march will travel from Danowita to Yakkala on the 29th of April and from Yakkala to Peliyagoda on the 30th.

MP Attanayake said on the 1st of May they will walk from Campbell Park to Nidahas Mawatha to commemorate May Day.

The Parliamentarian called on individuals to join the protest march, demanding the government to step down and to express public displeasure.
