The All Island Private Bus Owners Federation charges the new bus fare revisions provide bus operators with minimum relief.
Speaking to NewsRadio Chairman of the Federation Anjana Priyanjith said the government increased prices of diesel and provided a minimal bus fare revision for private bus operators.
He claimed however operators are unable to cover the daily cost with the bus fare revision.
Anjana Priyanjith noted operators will reach a decision on whether they will continue to operate buses after checking their income under the revised fares, over the next two days.
He added they will announce their decision on whether operators will continue to operate buses in the near future.
