Police says the number of complaints related to sexual harassment of women on social media platforms has increased.
Speaking during a media briefing at the Department of Government Information, Superintendent of Police MAM Nawaz said women are being harassed through the use of social media.
He said incidents where an individual’s images being misused to cause distress or an attempt to tarnish the reputation are reported frequently.
SP Nawaz said action is being taken based on complaints.
