As part of the second phase of issuing passports under the one-day service through regional offices of the Department of Immigration and Emigration, the service will get underway at the Kurunegala office from today.
Accordingly, passports will be issued to individuals who obtained appointments prior.
The Department said passports will be issued to individuals under the one-day and normal service through the Matara, Vavuniya, and Kurunegala regional offices for persons with prior appointments.
An appointment can be made by visiting immigration.gov.lk.
