The Ministry of Power says it expects to provide an uninterrupted supply of power from today.

Speaking to NewsRadio, Spokesman of the Ministry of Power Sulakshana Jayawardena said the uninterrupted supply of power is ensured due to phases two and three of the Norochcholai Power Plant which broke down on the 3rd of December, being reconnected to the national power grid.

Jayawardena said the Ministry is taking all necessary steps to provide electricity to the public without any outages from today.

Power supply to several areas was disrupted between 6 pm and 9.30 pm since the 4th of December
