Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa alleges that although a Presidential Task Force has been set up for a green agriculture, experts in agriculture have not been appointed to the Task Force.
The Opposition Leader said a large sum of money has been allocated to implement the recommendations of the Task Force.
MP Premadasa joining a protest in Polgahawela yesterday said the mismanagement of the government has led to the people being severely affected, while their concerns have not been resolved.
Therefore, he said a people-centred struggle will be initiated against the government.
MP Premadasa said the government came into power to support the people but has instead inconvenienced the public and has failed to provide concessions.
The Opposition Leader added today, the government has successfully created a queueing era for various essentials such as gas, sugar, milk powder, dhal, and rice.
