The Department of Immigration and Emigration has announced new visa fees and fines effective in Sri Lanka.
The Department of Immigration and Emigration announced that fees and fines have been revised in accordance with the new immigration and emigration regulations included in the Gazette Notification issued on the 18th of August.
Accordingly, a fine of US $500 will be levied in addition to the visa fee for staying in Sri Lanka without a valid visa or beyond the visa period.
The visa fee for the first resident category, including investors, employees and students is US $200.
The ETA Tourist visa fee for individuals visiting from SAARC countries has been revised to US $20 for electronic payments and US $25 for on arrival payments.
Visa fees have also been revised for individuals arriving for business purposes.
