The new Cabinet of Ministers under a government led by President Ranil Wickremesinghe will be sworn in today (22).
The President’s Media Division said the swearing in ceremony will take place at the Prime Minister’s Office at 9am.
According to political sources, Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardena is tipped to be sworn in first as the country’s Prime Minister.
MP Gunawardena is expected to take oath before President Wickremesinghe.
The Cabinet of Ministers will take oath subsequently.
An individual has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division for forging documents and embezzling money.
