Senior Administrative Officer Neil de Silva has been appointed as the Chairman of the Paddy Marketing Board.
Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage has handed the letter of appointment. Neil de Silva assumed duties in his new post at the headquarters of the Paddy Marketing Board today.
Neil de Silva has previously held the post of Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration.
He has also functioned as Divisional Secretary, a District Secretary and an advisor to Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
