The Sri Lanka Navy today brought ashore the vessel carrying over 250kg of narcotics and six foreign nationals who were arrested during an operation conducted in international waters over the weekend.
Speaking to NewsRadio Navy Spokesperson Captain Indika De Silva said the vessel was brought to the Colombo Port today.
Capt. De Silva said the stock of narcotics and the suspects were escorted ashore by SLNS ‘Sayura’.
The Spokesman said the suspects and the drugs were handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau.
