Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera says over 300 filling stations have already adopted or tested the National Fuel Pass QR system.
The Minister confirmed that 299 CEYPETCO filling stations and 34 Lanka IOC filling stations fully adopted or tested the QR system yesterday to complete 92,845 transactions.
Meanwhile, four million users have registered with the National Fuel Pass system as of 9pm yesterday.
The system is being tested as a pilot project across the country while it will be fully rolled out from the 1st of August.
