Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Nalin Bandara Jayamaha has questioned the stance of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe over public demands for President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to step down.
Speaking to media in Colombo yesterday, MP Jayamaha said Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa also expressed his willingness to take over the post of Prime Minister on the basis that the President steps down.
The MP said MP Premadasa has been in support of GotaGoHome when he declared his intention to take on the post of Prime Minister.
However, the MP claimed they are unaware of the Premiers stance on the matter.
