Two Police teams have inspected the head office of the Frontline Socialist Party in Nugegoda this morning.

Propaganda Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party Duminda Nagamuwa claimed that the first group of ten officers in civilian clothing with a police officer in uniform conducted an unlawful search as they did not possess a search warrant.

Nagamuwa also stated that the second group of about 30 police officers in uniform presented a search warrant issued to Wasantha Mudalige, the convener of the Inter-University Student Federation.

He explained that both groups left the party office after conducting a thorough search operation.

Nagamuwa said the first group arrived at 7.30am while the second group arrived momentarily.

The Propaganda Secretary claimed the first group did not disclose any information when questioned and also claimed that the second group of officers were unaware of the first group.
