Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa says he is looking forward to promoting tourism between Sri Lanka and Kenya.
The Minister, taking to his official Twitter account said he met with Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Tourism & Wildlife Najib Balala.
During the talks, plans to make a collective effort to revive the tourism industry which was worst affected by the coronavirus pandemic, were discussed.

During the tour, Minister Rajapaksa also met Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary of Sports Culture & Heritage Dr Amina Mohamed.
After the meeting Minister Rajapaksa tweeted that there were so many great opportunities to collaborate and share both resources & expertise in the field of sport between Sri Lanka and Kenya.
Minister Namal Rajapaksa added that he was looking forward to working closely with his Kenyan counterpart to further develop the standard of sports and skills of athletes.
