Ambassadors and High Commissioners of Middle Eastern nations, China, and India have called on President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa at the President’s House in Colombo Fort.
Issuing a statement, the President’s Media Division said the Head of State briefed the diplomats on the current economic, social and political situation.
President Rajapaksa has requested the assistance of these countries to assist Sri Lanka in resolving the prevailing situation and had expressed his appreciation for the assistance extended by the countries.
