A protest march organised by the National People’s Power will commence in Beruwala today.

The march has been organised in support of protestors at Galle Face demanding the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Chief Secretary of the party Tilvin Silva said they will march from Kalutara to Galle Face and join the protesters at the Agitation Site opposite the Presidential Secretariat.

He said a protest march will be held tomorrow and on the 19th as well in support of the youth at Galle Face.

Silva said they are ready to empower the people who are protesting against the government.
