The main suspect in the incident where an ambulance driver was shot and killed opposite the Panadura Base Hospital on the 27th of January, has been arrested.
Police said that 8 grams of heroin were also found in his possession.
The suspect is a 32-year-old resident of Kuruppumulla, Panadura.
Investigators have obtained detention orders from the Panadura Magistrate’s Court to interrogate the suspect.
