State Minister Duminda Dissanayake says the government is ready to simplify the process of providing loans to small business owners, through State banks.
Speaking to media in Anuradhapura, the State Minister said the Sri Lankan people lack the need to become entrepreneurs.
He stressed that the Ministry was ready to support individuals to become entrepreneurs, but noted that it was no good if the public were unwilling.
However, the State Minister commented that the process of obtaining loans from State Banks will be simplified so that anyone can get a business loan easily.
The State Minister also pointed out that State sector employees must support the government to enact its policies, despite their personal political affiliations and views.
He stressed that it was the State Employees responsibility to support the incumbent government to establish policies.
