Litro Gas Company has informed that the distribution of gas will recommence today (31), after six days.
Accordingly, 50,000 gas cylinders of 12.5kg, 5kg, and 2.3kg will be released to the market this evening.
30,000 of the cylinders will be distributed in the Colombo and Gampaha Districts.
Litro Gas informed that lists of distributors who will receive gas today can be accessed through the Litro website.
A vessel carrying 3,950MT of liquefied petroleum gas arrived in the country last morning.
Litro Chairman Vijitha Herath yesterday said the shipment was offloaded and a quality check was carried out prior to distribution.
