Litro Gas has issued a clarification pertaining to the delay in releasing gas cylinders to the market.
The company issuing a statement said the pace of the manufacturing process has slowed down due to the lengthy process of reassembling and removing gas cylinders with blue and black seals previously launched by the company.
The company informed consumers that steps have been taken to import necessary technical equipment to expedite the process of releasing gas cylinders to the market adding that subsequently gas cylinders will be issued without any delay.
Litro Gas said as of yesterday, two gas tankers were loaded into the filling complex for daily use.
Litro added it currently manufactures and distributes between 30,000-40,000 domestic gas cylinders daily, subject to the standards and supervision of the Sri Lanka Standards Institution and the Consumer Affairs Authority.
