The JVP says it commenced the fight to send the government home.
Speaking during a rally in Tangalle former Parliamentarian KD Lalkantha said the world is focused on the Ukraine-Russia crisis adding however Sri Lankans are focused on when the present administration will be disposed of.
Lalkantha said the JVP has commenced the struggle to dethrone the government.
He said the doors of the NPP are open for those who want to witness a change in administration.
Lalkantha also challenged the government to conduct an election promptly.
He claimed all political rivals are attempting level false allegations against the Leader of the National People’s Power Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake adding they have understood the progress of the NPP.
Lalkantha said while the next General Election is scheduled to be held in three and half years, there is a possibility that Provincial Council elections and Local Authority elections will be held beforehand.
He claimed it is clear that they will claim victory of many local government bodies.
