Island-wide curfew will be imposed at 8pm today (16) and will remain in place till 5am tomorrow (17).
The President’s Media Division said curfew will be imposed according to provisions of the Article 16 of the Public Security Ordinance.
Accordingly, no one will be permitted to remain on public roads, railway lines, parks, playgrounds, or public beaches, except under the authority of a written permit issued by an authorising officer.
