An individual has died after coming in contact with an illegal power line at a poultry farm in Wawinna, Wattegama.
The 49-year-old, a resident of Menikhinna, is an employee of the poultry farm.
The owner of the farm had instructed the employees of the farm to set up the power line around the chicken cages to prevent thefts.
Three employees and the owner of the farm have been arrested by Police and will be produced before the Teldeniya Magistrate’s Court today
The draft of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution is expected to be finalized by next week.
