The International Monetary Fund report on Sri Lanka has been tabled in Parliament.
The report was tabled in Parliament by Minister of Finance Ali Sabry.
Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on several occasions requested the government to table the IMF review report in Parliament.
During the recently concluded All Party Conference, former Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa agreed to table the report.
However, yesterday during the appointment of the interim Cabinet, Basil Rajapaksa was removed from the post and was replaced by Ali Sabry.
Accordingly, during this morning’s Parliamentary session, Minister Sabry tabled the report.
